“The program “The Ocean, the Source of Our Life and Livelihood” organized by the International Ocean Academy Singapore was a truly enlightening and transformative experience for me. As someone who previously lacked in-depth knowledge about the ocean and its vital role in our world, this program opened my eyes to how the ocean shapes and sustains our lives economically and socially. Through this in-depth learning opportunity, I was able to expand my understanding of the ocean’s complex functioning and the myriad challenges it faces in the modern era.

I now have a new reverence for the ocean’s role as the source of our existence, and I am committed to doing my part to preserve and protect this vital global resource for generations to come.”
